The Italians came to town and brought lots of toys to show off at Shooters on the ICW Tuesday night (4-14-15). Karen and I were invited to swig free Peroni beer and gawk at the work of Italy’s most famous designers. The exhibition started with Ferraris and Maseratis in the front parking area.

No food or drinks were allowed on the Yachts. I manned the helm of the Ferretti made Pershing 74. The low-slung wheel fit nicely with the sleek lines, but I think it would be awkward to steer.

At look at Karen on the flybridge of the Pershing 74 gives a feel for how long the cushioned-covered snout extended.

The see-and-be-seen crowd got thick as night fell on the waterway. Most folks came to schmooze leaving the cars and boats open for us to check out.

It was a nice event and drew lots of pretty people. Those Italians love expensive toys. Salute!
