Sunday (6-26-16) was too hot to bake on the beach or in a boat. The Cubs brought their first place record to Miami, so we drove to Little Havana to catch them playing in the air conditioned comfort of Marlins Park.

Karen and I pose outside Marlins park before entering to watch the ballgame. It was a great game, but the Cubs lost 9-6. Since our new home team won, the sting of defeat was not that bad. Besides, Cubs fans can take a loss in stride better than most sports enthusiasts.

Versailles Cuban Cuisine bills itself as "The Worlds Most Famous Cuban Restaurant." The crowd out, front drinking Cafe Cubano, was lively and patient. The wait was much shorter than anticipated and worth the effort.

The cavernous Versailles was simple and boisterous inside. The Cuban food was the real deal and the people friendly.
